Quick answer: Because each cartridge lasts 90 to 120 days, most UAE owners use 3 to 4 cartridges a year running one scent continuously. Light drivers can get by on 3; heavy daily drivers — and anyone parking outdoors through a UAE summer — often need 4 or more. Here’s how to estimate your own number and plan refills so you’re never caught without one.
The Simple Math
One cartridge running continuously covers roughly a quarter of the year:
| Your usage | Cartridge life | Cartridges/year |
|---|---|---|
| Light (under 1 hr/day, often covered parking) | ~120 days | ~3 |
| Moderate (2–3 hrs/day) | 90–110 days | ~3–4 |
| Heavy (4+ hrs/day, AC always on) | ~90 days | ~4 |
| Heavy + outdoor summer parking | under 90 days in peak heat | 4+ |
So the honest answer for a typical UAE owner is 3 to 4 cartridges a year on a single continuous scent. If you like to rotate scents seasonally, you’ll buy the same total — just spread across different fragrances.
What Pushes the Number Up
- Air-conditioning hours. Diffusion scales with fan speed, so heavy AC use works through a cartridge faster.
- UAE summer heat. Cabins hitting 60–70°C accelerate evaporation and diffusion — peak-summer cartridges trend toward the lower end of their life. Our UAE summer heat guide covers how to slow that down.
- Running multiple cartridges at once. The dock has multiple slots, but using more than one shortens each one’s life and isn’t the system’s intended single-cartridge use.
What If You Want to Rotate Scents?

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How many Leopard Perfume cartridges do I need per year? A: Most UAE owners use 3 to 4 a year, since each cartridge lasts 90–120 days. Light users need about 3; heavy daily drivers and outdoor-summer parkers often need 4 or more.
Q: Does rotating scents mean buying more cartridges? A: No — rotating uses the same yearly total (3–4), just spread across different fragrances instead of one.
How many cartridges are in the Discovery Gift Set? Three: Wind, Rain and Green. This is a pack-content statement, not a guaranteed year of use.
Q: Why might I need more than four a year? A: Heavy air-conditioning use and outdoor parking through UAE summer shorten each cartridge below 90 days, raising your annual count.
Compatibility must be checked for the exact model, year, market and installed hardware. Similar model names do not confirm identical mounting points, dimensions, charging equipment or fragrance systems. Compare the product specification and your vehicle before ordering.
Q: How do I avoid running out? A: Keep one spare on hand and reorder when the current cartridge starts to fade. free UAE shipping on orders of AED 149 or more means there’s no penalty for ordering early.
The Bottom Line
Plan on 3–4 Leopard cartridges a year, more with heavy AC use or outdoor summer parking. Keep a spare, reorder early, and rotate scents if you enjoy variety. Reorder your scent or start with the Discovery Gift Set — free UAE shipping on orders of AED 149 or more, replacement guarantee on every cartridge.
