ROX 01 TPMS Warning After Tyre Replacement: UAE Checklist

ROX 01 tyre-pressure warning still on after tyre work? Check the exact alert and cold pressure, then use the official sensor recalibration path.

Manually fact-checked for the UAE on 3 October 2026 against the current official ROX 01 user manual and ROX UAE service information. This page answers a real post-repair question; Autosupp did not inspect the vehicle or its sensor.

Quick answer

If a ROX 01 still shows a tyre-pressure warning after a flat tyre or tyre replacement, do not start by hunting for a generic “reset” button. Read the exact warning and the displayed pressure and temperature for all four wheels, inspect the tyre safely, and compare a cold-pressure reading with the label on the driver’s door frame. The official ROX 01 manual says that after wheel rotation, tyre replacement or tyre-pressure sensor replacement, the vehicle should go to a ROX Service Center for sensor recalibration.

The public manual gives actions for low pressure, high pressure, high temperature and rapid deflation, but it does not publish a user-operated TPMS relearn sequence in that section. A warning that remains after the tyre is corrected may therefore be a pressure/temperature issue, a damaged or unmatched sensor, a position-mapping issue or a TPMS system fault. Those are inspection branches, not a remote diagnosis.

Owner decision and anti-cannibalisation check

The triggering question came from a ROX 01 user who replaced a flat tyre and could not find a setting to clear the pressure warning. The public question is on Reddit; it does not identify the market, model year, tyre, sensor work or exact alert. Autosupp therefore localised the service path for UAE readers without assuming the vehicle is UAE-specification.

Autosupp checked ten exact TPMS queries and five broader query fragments in UAE GSC for 2–29 September 2026 and the previous 28 days. Both windows returned no reportable query-to-page rows. This means there is no current GSC owner evidence; it does not prove zero demand. Both proposed slugs were 404 before publication. The three closest pages cover ROX 01 accessories, range-extender shutdown safety and a Leopard 5/DENZA B5 tyre inflator. None owns ROX 01 TPMS recalibration after tyre work.

First separate the warning type

What the car showsImmediate decisionWhat not to assume
Low-pressure alertCheck the tyre for damage and set cold pressure to the door-label valueDo not clear the alert before checking for a puncture or leak
High-pressure alertLet the tyre cool and correct cold pressure to the label valueDo not bleed a hot tyre to an unverified target
High-temperature alertStop driving and inspect pressure and tyre conditionDo not treat temperature as a software-only warning
Rapid-deflation alertStop safely and check for tyre damage; do not continue on a flat tyreDo not rely on a screen reset to make the tyre safe
TPMS system fault or warning remains after tyre workRecord the exact message and wheel data, then arrange sensor/system inspection and recalibrationDo not assume the new tyre alone is defective

Check the cold pressure correctly

The official ROX 01 user-manual directory links the current manual. In sections 8.3.6 and 9.1.6, the manual says the correct cold-pressure value is on the driver’s door-frame label. It recommends measuring after the vehicle has been parked for at least three hours or driven no more than 2 km. Pressure normally rises after driving, so a hot reading should not be compared as if it were a cold reading.

  1. Park safely and let the vehicle meet the manual’s cold-pressure condition.
  2. Photograph the exact instrument warning and all four displayed pressure/temperature values.
  3. Inspect the affected tyre, valve and wheel for visible damage or a continuing leak.
  4. Read the driver’s door-frame pressure label for the exact vehicle; do not copy a value from another ROX 01 online.
  5. Measure with a known-good gauge and correct pressure only if the tyre is otherwise safe.
  6. If the alert is rapid deflation, high temperature, a system fault or the values remain implausible, stop the DIY process and contact service.

What changed during the tyre repair?

Ask the tyre shop for a written work record. The distinction matters because fitting rubber to the same wheel is different from changing a wheel, valve or sensor:

  • Was only the tyre replaced, or was the complete wheel changed?
  • Was the original TPMS sensor retained, removed, copied or replaced?
  • Was the valve stem or service kit changed, and was any sensor physically damaged?
  • Does the instrument show one missing value, an implausible value, the wrong wheel position or a general system fault?
  • Was the wheel rotated to another corner of the vehicle?
  • What sensor part number, frequency and programming method were used?
  • Did the warning exist before the flat tyre, and did the shop scan the TPMS before and after the work?

The official manual states that tyre repair or replacement may affect normal TPMS operation. It also says that wheel rotation, tyre replacement or pressure-sensor replacement requires recalibration at a ROX Service Center. That is stronger evidence than a generic internet relearn sequence.

UAE service path

The current official ROX UAE service-centre page lists Umm Ramool in Dubai and Musaffah in Abu Dhabi, with hotline 800 769 823. Contact the centre with the VIN, model year, exact warning, four wheel readings and tyre-shop record. Ask whether the VIN and its software/market region are supported, whether the vehicle must be driven or recovered, what recalibration involves, and what diagnostic charge applies. A published service address does not prove warranty coverage or free support for every imported VIN.

The official ROX 01 specification page confirms TPMS equipment on the listed 6-seat and 7-seat versions. It does not prove which sensor part or software procedure applies to an individual vehicle; confirm by VIN and delivered specification.

Failure modes to avoid

  • Clearing the warning before checking the tyre: can hide urgency without fixing pressure, temperature or leakage.
  • Using another vehicle’s pressure target: ignores the delivered vehicle’s door label and load context.
  • Bleeding a hot tyre: can leave it underinflated after cooling.
  • Installing an unverified universal sensor: may create frequency, identity or programming incompatibility.
  • Repeatedly driving to “teach” the sensor: is not the recalibration instruction published in the ROX manual after replacement work.
  • Assuming a tyre-only repair cannot affect TPMS: conflicts with the manual’s caution that repair or replacement may affect operation.

Method, evidence and limits

Autosupp manually compared the real user question with fresh UAE GSC query-to-page filters, the live sitemap and publication log, both candidate slugs, three closest existing pages, ROX’s current configuration page, the official ROX 01 manual sections 7.2.6, 8.3.6–8.3.7 and 9.1.6, and the current ROX UAE service page. No page fact was derived from a generic reset video. Autosupp did not inspect the tyre, valve, wheel, sensor, pressure gauge, VIN or diagnostic report. The exact cause and recalibration result remain unknown until the vehicle is checked.

Frequently asked questions

Can I clear a ROX 01 TPMS warning from the screen after replacing a tyre?

The public ROX manual does not publish a user reset sequence in its TPMS section. It says tyre replacement, wheel rotation or sensor replacement should be followed by sensor recalibration at a ROX Service Center.

Should I keep driving until the ROX 01 sensor relearns?

Do not use continued driving as a substitute for checking a low, hot or rapidly deflating tyre. If the tyre is physically safe but the system warning remains, ask ROX service for the VIN-specific recalibration path.

What tyre pressure should I use for a ROX 01?

Use the cold-pressure value on the driver-door-frame label of the exact vehicle. The manual recommends measuring after at least three hours parked or no more than 2 km driven.

Does a new tyre require a new TPMS sensor?

Not automatically. Confirm whether the original sensor was retained, damaged or replaced. The cause cannot be inferred from the tyre replacement alone.

Will ROX UAE recalibrate a China-import ROX 01?

The official UAE page provides a service route, but it does not promise support for every imported VIN or software region. Confirm support, procedure and charges in writing before the visit.
