What UAE heat changes
A parked cabin can become much hotter than the outside air. A published vehicle study measured cabin temperatures more than 20°C above ambient; the result varied with sunlight, vehicle colour, ventilation and time. Read the study summary. That establishes a real heat-exposure problem. It does not establish that an oil cartridge, gel, card or vent clip will win a longevity test. Product design, dose, enclosure, airflow, parking location and the manufacturer’s temperature limits all affect the result.

How to choose without guessing
- Check the label first. It should be intended for automotive use and include placement, storage and contact warnings.
- Choose the use case. On-demand spray, airflow-driven vent clip, or passive solid/cartridge are different jobs.
- Prefer controllable intensity. An adjustable or removable format is useful if heat makes the scent feel stronger.
- Avoid unsupported heat claims. “UAE tested”, “heat-proof” and a fixed number of days should come with a stated method.
